USACE Convert SF-A-2A&2B and 16 To Fan Wall Units Ft. Campbell, KY – $1.4M

Doyon Project Services will be working with USACE Mobile District on this Design-Build project to convert SF-A-2A and 2B and 16 to Fan Wall Units, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH), Building 650, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The objective of this project is for the Contractor to demolish the existing air handler motors, fans and blower assembly’s and replace by converting AHU 2A/2B and AHU #16 to a fan wall unit to include commissioning of the newly reconfigured units. The downstream duct work is not part of this project except for any modifications required to totally complete the conversion. All work shall be performed at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and performed in accordance with all Installation, State and Federal codes and regulations. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to safely complete the repair activities. Contractor shall provide a combination Site Survey/Mechanical Work Plan submittal detailing the existing conditions and repair work narrative to include, but not limited to removal of electrical and mechanical equipment, new fan schedule, calculations for fan array, UV lighting schedule, access door detail and new electrical work. This work is intended to improve the Environment of Care, to provide facility compliance with current regulations and standards, and to meet the safety requirements of current health standards. Any repairs and modifications to the major systems involved shall provide a 15-year life extension as the mission and operational window of the Medical Facility is planned to remain intact for the foreseeable future.
