NAVFAC Joint Intelligence Reserve Center, Minneapolis, MN – $5.9M
Doyon Project Services will be working with NAVFAC Northwest and the Contracting Group at Naval Operations Support Center on this 902 Calendar Day project to to provide a 2,050-SF addition to Building #N-1. The addition will include office spaces and storage. The project includes renovation of the basement for reallocation of existing space of approximately 2,800-SF, renovation of the first floor adjacent to the addition for reallocation of existing space, and infill of the open mezzanine areas of the second floor to be allocated as office space for approximately of 2,300-SF. The existing parking lot will be altered to accommodate the 2,050- SF addition by reduction of 5 stalls and shortening the turn radius at the building’s main entry, relocation of the flagpole, and incidental related work.
NAVFAC Bulkhead Repairs, Naval Station Newport, RI – $10.4M
Doyon Project Services will be working with NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic on this 702-calendar day, $10.4M project to replace three bulkheads at Naval Station Newport. Bulkhead 1 is a designed deadman anchored king system consisting of 30 open-end pipe pile with steel sheet piles. Bulkhead 2 includes a deadman anchored sheet pile wall and sloped riprap revetment section. Bulkhead 3 runs south until the breakwater located at the end of the project limit.
USACE Building 503 Renovation of Sleep Research Center, WRAIR, MD – $2.2M
Doyon Project Services will be working with USACE Mobile District on this 320 calendar-day Design-Build project off of it’s MEDCOM contract to renovate the Sleep Research Center on the 2nd Floor of Building 503 at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Forest Glen Annex, Silver Spring, MD. The project includes removal, storage and de/re-installation of all equipment, furniture, furnishings, resource protection, information technology, systems and communications to and from the designated transition space and final space for all departments impacted by the construction effort.
NAVFAC Dry Dock #8 Replace Pumpwell Thimble Plate, Norfolk Naval Station, Portsmouth, VA – $1M
Doyon Project Services will be working with NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic on this 194 calendar-day project at Norfolk Naval Station to remove six steel thimble plates over water pump chamber openings and install concrete plugs over the openings to permanently seal them.
USACE Naval Research Laboratory Electrical Upgrades, Washington D.C. – $10.2M
Doyon Project Services is working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District on this $10.2M, 545-calendar-day project to upgrade the Naval Research Laboratory Electrical System in Washington D.C. including demolition of the existing and and providing new transformers, upgrading switchboards and switchgear, and associated equipment for an operational electrical system. The existing transformers and substation units are older, leaking fluids and require replacement. The switchboards lack the physical breaker space to accommodate the new loads, is beyond its serviceable life, and has several code violations. In some instances, the switchgear is also at or beyond its serviceable life and requires replacement.
USACE MEDCOM Design-Build Nationwide MATOC – $230M
Awarded in March 2021, Doyon Project Services is working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District on this four-year, $230M Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to support the Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) on this nationwide program. The primary purpose of this contract is to provide a full range of construction services to include design/build renovation, repair, and new construction for MEDCOM medical treatment facilities (MTF) and medical research laboratory facilities to provide quick, cost effective responses to requirements for MEDCOM facilities, primarily at military installations. Projects will include, but are not limited to, work inside both permanent and temporary facilities some of which include the following types: medical centers, community hospitals, medical clinics, dental treatment facilities, veterinary treatment facilities, medical office buildings, medical research laboratory facilities, medical warehouses, and various other facility types in direct support of the MEDCOM mission. As the facilities will typically be in full operation, we will be required to minimize interference with the daily operation of the facilities and will be required to implement infection control processes and to comply with Joint Commission requirements for construction work in occupied medical facilities.
Indian Health Services (IHS) Billings and Portland Construction MATOC – $15M
Awarded in June 2019, Doyon Project Services is working with the Indian Health Services on this 5-year, $15M Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for new construction, renovation, alteration and repair of medical facilities for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)/ Indian Health Service (IHS). Work is being performed at various facilities in the IHS geographic region of Billings (Montana and Wyoming), and Portland (Idaho, Oregon and Washington), but may occasionally be performed at other areas throughout the United States.
Smithsonian Institute Construction Services IDIQ – $50M
Awarded in June 2016, Doyon Project Services is working with the Smithsonian Institute on this 10-year, $50M Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for construction services in Edgewater, MD. This contract satisfies requirements of the Smithsonian Institution as required for projects to build, repair, renovate, modify or restore existing sites and facilities belonging to the Smithsonian Institution. The type of work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: demolition, site work, concrete construction, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, wood, painting, plastering, ceramic and cabinetry work, drywall, roofing, and other tasks
as assigned.
